At the end of Habakkuk chapter 2 God said ““But the Lord is in His holy temple. Let all the earth keep silence before Him”

At the beginning of Chapter 3, titled the prophet’s prayer. “O Lord , I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O Lord , revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.
Habakkuk 3:2″

The best prayer we can pray is for God to be merciful in whatever God is doing. Habakkuk came to a place where he saw what God had planned for Israel and even Nebuchadnezzar and could only cry out for mercy.
Habakkuk went on to talk about all the great things God did in the past and in verse 17, He said
Though the fig tree may not blossom, Nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, And the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, And there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the Lord , I will joy in the God of my salvation. The Lord God is my strength; He will make my feet like deer’s feet, And He will make me walk on my high hills. To the Chief Musician. With my stringed instruments.
Habakkuk 17‭-‬19 NKJV

Habakkuk was saying whatever I may be going through, you remain God.

When we are in the middle of challenging situation, that’s not the time to argue with God. It is the time to remind God of His greatness and ask for His mercy.

God will do what He wants to do…

When we have to climb mountains, He will make out feet like the deer’s. He will give the grace and support needed to get through. He will never leave nor forsake us.

The just shall live by faith…it is a decision, it is choosing to trust God. When a man loses faith, you can’t get anything from God. The currency of heaven is faith.
In whatever you are going through, guard your faith jealously

There are times we can’t see what God is doing…don’t question Him, let Him be God…trust him enough to let Him be God. Let your faith stay strong, if you allow your faith go weak, you may not be able to stand on the day you need to lean on it.

Don’t let your current circumstances define your life.

Whatever you are going through, pray today “O Lord , revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy”
